This quest is one of the more time consuming ones.
There are 2 things to collect
Glowing Biles and Crystalline Silk Threads
Again the best resource is

Before or immeadiately after getting the componants for this quest you should tradeskill 1 skills Brewing Tailoring.
BREWING - 162 Trivial
This is one of the easier skilling methods:
Fetid Essence - 122
Ol'tujim's Fierce Brew - 135
Go to Rivervale and make:
JumJum Spiced Beer -162
Tailoring - 208 trivial
Out of all the tradeskilling tasks tailoring can be the hardest to level due to the sheer amount of farming.
First lets address where to farm and then what to collect
Go to Abysmal Sea and do Vendor Quest until 36. Studded Mask to 56 ( Requires Studs, Smithing task Trivials - 35). Woven Mandrake to 66. Use the Woven Mandrake to make Picnic Baskets to 76 (requires Steel Boning Smithing task trivials - 37).
If you have plenty of Silk Swatches (which I did) you can go from 36 to 82 by making Cured Silk Mask requires Heady Koila - Brewing task trivial 46.)
[[ Side note Brewing 1 - 122 in POK making fetid essence Fishing Grubs and Flask of Water both vendor bought in POK. Fishing Grubs can be bought from Caden Zharik @ -340, 755.]]
Grayhopper Hide mask to 88. If you have Crystalline Silk Swatches made from Crystalline Silk from Velketor's Labyrinth then make Crystalline Silk Mask to 108. Then switch to Crystalline Silk mantle to 118. If not then Tailored Quivers to 115.
Here is where you will be spending more time brewing Heady Kiolas than tailoring. Make at least 400 hundred (omg) Heady Kiolas. Additionally you will need a Vials of Viscious Mana you can buy these or have you favorite chanter make them (I feel the love) for you. You need at least 100. (and alternative skilling path for pottery was making vials with Zombie Skin - trivial 148. I did not list this option since the skin was not vendor bought)
Wus gear should be made in this order:
Wu's Fighting Collar - 128
Wu's Fighting Mask - 135
Wu's Fighting Mantle - 144
Wu's Fighting Sleeves - 151
Wu's Fighting Tunic - 158
After 158 its time to do ribbons in Gulf of Gunthak to 187. The best guide I saw was Csimene's Guide to Ribbon Skilling however, I can't find a viable link. I printed it out and have it in my tradeskilling folder. This is an alternate site that lists tradeskilling guides.

Past 158 the tailors best friend is the local forager. Please look at the above link to see your options in making ribbons. Ribbons are racially based so you may want to focus on your specific race so you can use them on post 187 skill work. I worked my skill up to 187 and with geerlock it got all my combines succesful.
An alternateive skill-up past 187 is Acrylia Reinforced Gorget to 210
I found the beast place for silks and HQ cat pelts to be in Eastern Karana on spider hill which is on the right of the entrance to the long run up to High Pass.
Killing -
Great Divide-
As a side note. I found that i got a lot of drops for glowing biles south of the cave (location 0, -6000 in Great Divide). With an occasional foray into through the cave to search for glowing Shardwurms
On my computer if a Shardwurn pops that is carrying a Glowing Bile there is a big glowing spot on the terrain where it popped. You can turn your gamma down and they leap out to you. Additionally the Sharwurms glow. Some suggest killing at night since they are very obvious.
Velketor's Labyrinth
While farming Velketor's Labyrinth Collect all the pieces, large and small bricks and blocks of velium you can. These are necessary for combineing and making 8 Velium Rings (Quest 8) and 15 Folded Sheet of Velium (Quest 8).
I found the best drops are on the top in a place called TR. You basically whack anything with Crystalline in front of it and send tells that you are looking for them..
