Raid Equipment

Here is a list of standard raid equipment all should have.

1. EB item or potion (lots of Water and airless zones).
Knotted Turtlebone Ring (under 900pp) or Lodizal
Shell Shield (under 2500pp) are good choices.

2. Shrink device or potion. Anizok's Minimizing Device is
under 1kpp and Ant potions are very cheap.

3. Instant Click device. Lots of mobs dispel only that
1st spell slot. A instant click device solves that. A
Spyglass is one of the best (25pp). Can be cast from
inventory.

4. Food and Water


Other items that are nice to have:

Gate potion or device.
Healing potions
Invis Potions


There are other items that most carry to raids and hopefully some follow-up posts here will list them. If you can not afford these items please contact a guild officer and we try to help you out.

Having run a few raids myself, I can testify that sometimes it is important for everyone to emphasize something in their armor.

The raid caller may require that you wear extra strong armor, or may want you to wear items that improve one or more resists. Do not ignore this request. It is given for a reason. The target mob may be a hard hitting melee, plain and simple, or it may have a tremendous antimagical and anti-fire area of affect. It;s touch could be poison, or its glance may make you sick to your stomach (diseased).

Whatever the case, the one that calls the raid has to inform you what to emphasize in your armor when you come. If they do, it is imperative that you do your best to emphasize that. i.e., if the raid caller wants you to emphasize magic resist, it might be a good idea to get out that facemask that has that both that low AC and that awsome Magic Resist.

Another thing to have with you that always makes life easier are a couple stacks of spell reagents. Even if you cant cast the spells. Ones I think are important are.

Peridots - for cleric/pally symbol line (stacks with druid buffs woot!)
pearls - for mage Coth...Nice to have a ride when you need one
essence emeralds - just in case you need a necro rez
tiny coffins - Just in case you need a corpse summons

and of course if you need reagents for your own spells you should have stacks of them too.
