All the enchanter epics deal with one called JEB LUMSED. Jeb is found in Burning Woods, in Kunark . He is in one of the Sarnak Encampments and can be traced by tracking A SARNAK IMITATOR (who just happens to be the mysterious Jeb).
To do the 1.5, you must have completed the 1.0 or the 1.25. Sorry, no exceptions.
The Chanter Epic 1.5 starts with Jeb.
[x] Hail Jeb, respond to his tells, get Tattered Illegible Tome.
The tome must be filled with 10 Cryptic Pages. These are found in the following zones at the following locations. These can be solo’d with a knowledgeable chanter. These are all ground spawns.
[x] Howling Stones, -135 +256 -165
[x] Old Sebilis, -260 +135 -176 (in a jail cell)
[x] Cazic Thule, +430 -390 (surrounded by some Tae Ew’s.)
[x] Crystal Caverns, +590 -940 -536 (in the Drachnid Queen Room, right under her)
[x] Skyshrine, +150 +385, in the Tower.
[x] Velketor’s Labyrinth, +260, -425 +21 (In first dog tent. If named’s are up, get help)
[x] Crypt of Nadox, +785 +1745 -82 (near the brood mother)
[x] Najena, -160 -120 -19 (in the jails, near Rathyl)
[x] Fungus Grove, +1135 +1275 (The Luclid Shard camp)
[x] Ocean of Tears, +555 +9270 (Sirens Isle, between two sirens)
[x] Combine the ten pages in tome.
[x] Hand completed tome to Jeb – receive instruction to speak to Grand Librarian Maelin in PoK.
[x] Tell Grand Librarian Maelin (top of library) “Jeb Lumsed sent me.” receive note to Lobean.
[x] Give note to Lobean, the dryad selling enchanter spells. Receive Sealed Documents.
[x] Give Sealed Documents to Jeb – Receive List of Instruction.
[x] Ask for, and receive, an Ornate Staff Chest
GOLD FILIGREE
[x] Natimbi, -845 +1560 Kill Enticing Potameid, loot sullied gold filigree
[x] Take to Anthone Chapman in Halls of Honor, give sullied gold filigree, received Purified Gold Filigree
STAFF SECTION 1 (soloable, but hard, especially in ToFS).
[x] Mistmoore Castle, Get fruit from table in MM, top of separate tower.
[x] Tower of Frozen Shadow, 7th Floor – Charm Advisor Svatmane, give him fruit, receive Staff Section 1.
STAFF SECTION 2
[x] Plane of Justice, -1300 -850 Kill Yrendian Scarab, loot staff section.(small group is sufficient for this – chanter, healer and tank)
STAFF SECTION 3
[ ] Vixed trial – drops off of any named.
STAFF SECTION 4
[ ] Bloodfields, Kill War Caller Kaavi (approx 3 groups, 12 guardians, not to difficult to kill)
STAFF CROWN
[ ] Sirens Grotto – Kill Faleniel of Darkwater, loot Ornate Staff Topper, let raid roll on chest contents.
(Best way to get to her is to go into Sirens Grotto, evac to other side, invis everyone, run to the well, and drop down into her room. She has many easily killed friends that may or may not heal her.)
INCANDESCENT OIL
[ ] Abysmal Sea, +485 +70, find Abysmal Moonwater
[ ] Find Essence of Sunlight
[ ] Make Vial of Purified Mana
[ ] Nektulos Forest – Forage Glow Lichen
[ ] Combine all 4 items in brew barrel, create Glowing Concoction.
[ ] Plane of Innovation, Kill A Greasy Clockwork (note – NOT TRACKABLE). From ent, take left path and go to 4-way. Turn left again and if up, should see it. Loot Glimmering Oil and auction contents of chest.
[ ] Combine Glowing Concoction, Glimmering Oil, Dragon Egg Oil, and Prismatic Dye (not the vial of Prismatic Dye) in Brew Barrel, receive Incandescent Oil.
ALL-SEEING EYE
[ ] Plane of Mischief – Kill All-Seeing Eye in middle of Hedge Maze – BRING RAID FORCE. Loot the All-Seeing Eye, and auction contents of chest.
FINAL ACTS
[ ] Put Purified Gold Filigree, all 5 sections of the staff, All Seeing Eye and Incandescent Oil into Ornate Staff Chest, combine and get Locked Ornate Chest.
[ ] Give to Jeb, receive Oculus of Persuasion (chanter epic 1.5)
